The Guild

With around 30,000 members, the Church of Scotland Guild is one of Scotland's largest voluntary organisation.

There is a very loyal membership of approximately 30 members, all ladies although the Guild is also open to men. We meet once a month in the afternoon from September to April. After business and devotions there is usually a speaker, very often with a power point presentation. The subjects cover a wide spectrum. This is followed by tea/coffee, a biscuit, friendship and fellowship.

Each year we have a fund raiser, usually a coffee morning. From the proceeds of this we are able to give support financially to the Church, to Dr Graham’s Homes in Kalimpong with whom we have a special relationship and to Erskine Hospital, as well as to one of the Guild’s Partnership Projects.
